The Snapper EBSRC82 charger is designed for Briggs & Stratton/ Snapper 82V Max lithium-ion batteries, used in the Snapper range of garden tools.
Allows you to quickly recharge batteries used on lawnmowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, blowers and other garden tools compatible with the 82-volt Snapper platform.
Batteries compatible with the EBSRC82 charger are the 2 amp BSB2AH82, EBSB2AH82, the 4 amp BSB4AH82 and EBSB4AH82, and the 5 amp BSB5AH82 and EBSB5AH82.
The 82V Max designation indicates the maximum initial voltage measured without load; the nominal voltage of the batteries is 72 volts.
Charging is fast. A 2-amp battery takes about 30 minutes to fully charge, a 4-amp battery takes about 60 minutes, and a 5-amp battery takes about 75 minutes.
The EBSRC82's 4 LED indicators allow you to easily monitor the charging status.
A flashing green light indicates charging, a solid green light indicates full charging, a solid red light indicates the battery temperature is too high, and a flashing red light indicates an abnormality or a defective battery.
It has no memory effect, so the battery can be recharged even if it is not completely discharged.
The EBSRC82 charger can also be fixed, saving space on the workbench.
