The Pedrollo VR-FT 2 check valve is specifically designed for lifting and drainage systems for wastewater, wastewater, sewage and sludge.
Indispensable when using submersible pumps such as VX, MC or Tritus with the aim of preventing the dangerous backflow of heavy liquids.
The VR-FT 2 uses a free internal ball both in the push and stop phases of the electric pump.
During the thrust phase, the flow lifts the sphere and pushes it into a dedicated lateral recess. The duct becomes completely free, minimizing pressure losses and eliminating accumulation points where debris could become trapped.
When stopped, the ball slides downwards by gravity and settles on the rubber seat, instantly blocking the return of dirty liquid into the collection tank.
The VR-FT 2 must be installed in a vertical position to allow the ball to function correctly thanks to the force of gravity.
It supports a pressure between a minimum of 0.3 bar and a maximum of 16 bar . It supports waste liquids with temperatures from -10 to +80 centigrade.
The connection is 2 inches, DN50, the standard size for common lines.
